1520 is a grocery delivery service that commenced operations in Manhattan at the beginning of 2021. Their standout feature is super-fast delivery times—15 to 20 minutes. The entire project was also swift; we had to develop an identity within a month. Consequently, my team devised a straightforward metaphor—a pile of groceries with wheels, driving at high speed.
We aimed for the identity to straddle the line between seriousness and fun. As a result, my key visuals comprise a blend of hand-drawn illustrations, and photos. The identity has evolved and adapted across various assets. Fruits, toothbrushes, and packages found new ways to move quickly—flying, cycling, being thrown, and launched.
